Anns inspiration comes from her garden that she designed and developed with her husband Charles in Inveresk East Lothian. The Royal Horticultural Society have made a number of awards for her paintings including a Gold medal.
As a mature student she studied at Edinburgh College of Art for a number of years. She then studied with John Mooney and Paul Nisbet at the Royal Edinburgh Botanical Garden. Her first solo Exhibition was in 1991 in London. She has subsequently exhibited widely in both London and Edinburgh.
Her outstanding works of art are represented in many Private Collections in Europe and America. She also features in “The Shirley Sherwood Collection”.
